Aisling Bea

Aisling B a, born on 16 March 1984. She was born in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has appeared seen on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better than the stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea began her stand-up show in 2011, after appearing as a guest on a variety of Irish television shows and British series from 2009. She began appearing regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms in 2012. In the wake of her success in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was scheduled for a range of panel show. In 2016, and in 2017, she was the team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Additionally, she was participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Parents are Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has one younger sister, Sinead. In 2012, she was the second woman ever to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny award. Bea was presented with the award to honor her father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born the 16th of March, 1984 in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was a veterinarian who worked with horses that committed suicide at three-years-old. However, she didn't discover the reason of her death until she was 13 years old. In 2017, Bea wrote an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and took on the stage name Bea in tribute. Bea as well as her older sister Sinead was raised by Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) who was a jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. They were both passionate about horses, races and the racing industry. Bea spent her childhood as a Tour Guide for the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she was not interested in racing as a career. She was more interested in the artistic arts.
